Description

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮‘𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐨: 

• Lead and inspire the creative team (designers, animators, video editors) to ensure high-quality output across all production lines.
• Oversee the entire production pipeline, ensuring all team members adhere to strict deadlines while maintaining creative excellence.
• Conduct quality control (QC) for all creative work, including animation, explainer videos, static designs, and video content.
• Collaborate closely with the production and client service teams to ensure smooth project delivery, addressing any bottlenecks in the process.
• Take ownership of team development, providing mentorship and guidance to encourage continuous improvement in both technical and creative skills.
• Present creative concepts to stakeholders and clients, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Backspace’s vision.
• Work on and lead the development of in-house creative projects to further enhance the brand’s portfolio.
• Be actively involved in new project briefings, providing creative direction and strategic input from ideation to final delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in animation, video production, and design to keep the team’s output fresh and innovative.

• 5-7 years of experience within an agency environment, with a proven track record of leading creative teams and delivering high-quality work.
• Expertise in animation production, explainer videos, and creative content development.
• Proficiency in design and animation tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and other relevant software.
• Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to balance creative vision with strict production timelines.
• A solid portfolio showcasing a range of creative work, including animation, video production, and design.
• Excellent communication skills, both with internal teams and clients, to clearly convey creative ideas and concepts.
• Ability to think critically and offer innovative solutions to creative challenges.
